1944 – Luogotenenza Lupa Capitolina 50 c. lilac and grey, full sheet with a double variety: vertical perforation on the right; the second perforation is 11 whilst the sheet is perforated at 11½. This is probably a sheet with an unfinished trial perforation that was subsequently run through the machine to produce the standard 11½ perforation; unlisted (No. 515A(ag)), the only known example.
